I Love the Thunder, Lightning and the September Showers

September In The Rain

by

Frank Sinatra

The leaves of brown came tumbling down,
remember in September in the rain
The Sun went out just like a dying amber,
that September in the rain
To every word of love I heard you whisper,
The raindrops seemed to play our sweet refrain
Though spring is here to me it's still September,
that September in the rain
To every word of love I heard you whisper
The raindrops seemed to play our sweet refrain
Though spring is here to me it is still September,
that September in the rain
That September that brought the pain,
that September in the rain

I Wish You Love,

Joyce

  1. Hey thanks for stopping by my blog. I love Florida afternoon showers as well. In fact we're in the middle of one right now.

  3. It has been pouring here all week in Atlanta and it is making it humid now. We really need the rain but I was praying for a few more days in the pool this week but that was not happening. Now Frank was my parents favorite singer. Brings back memories of my Dad singing the song and my Mom singing along with him. Thanks for the memories.
