Mimi's Chicken Breast with Mushrooms

Season chicken breast with salt, pepper and garlic powder, then brown on both sides it in a skillet with olive oil. Remove and set aside. In the same skillet add 1 small diced onion and 2 garlic garlic cloves and one small package mushrooms(any kind) and cook until soft. Add 1 cup of a good red wine and reduce. Add a cup or two of chicken stock along with chicken breasts and cook until thickens turning the chicken every now and then. Serve with mashed potatoes. Ummmm sooo good!
