And finally we eat......

I think we made too much moros, as usual.  Don't worry, it will be given to family and friends tomorrow.  It will not go to waste.

Cuban bread.  Pork sandwiches tomorrow, yay!!!

The pork was awesome.  It fell right off the bone.  O my, George always makes a "killer" pork roast.  It was excellente!!!!

Just look at this......Yummy!!!!

I made the yucca.  It was good too.

             So we eat...........and a wonderful meal it was.

Pork is done!

This pork roast is done, 160 degrees, crispy skin and I am sure it's going to be falling off the bone after is cools at bit.  Can't wait to eat!!!!

Beans are going in the pressure cooker....time to make the sofrito, and keepin it real!

You make the sofrito (the trinity)  add tomato sauce to it, a couple bay leaves, salt, and pepper.

Black beans go into the pressure cooker along with some roasted green pepper, bay leave, and fat back.

The diced roasted green pepper.  G just roasted it right on the stove burner.

The fat back sliced into small pieces.





When the beans are done add them to the sofrito.


Now they are ready to cover and go into the oven for 30-40 minutes.

By now  the kitchen is a real mess!!!!!

But the food is going to be real yummy!!!!

Pork is going in and G made breakfast.....

                                                      And G made breakfast.

Start with Nana's left over ham from Christmas.

                                                         Add sliced onions.

                                     Whisk three eggs with a little salt and pepper.

Scramble and you're done.
